Best-known for being one of three potential actors to portray the role of Anandi in Colors drama series Balika Vadhu, Nivedita Tiwari made her acting debut in 2010 with Bhagonwali-Bannte Apni Taqdeer, where she was seen essaying the role of Runjhun Mishra. The show aired for two years, earning the actor fame and recognition in the industry. She also appeared in television series like Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli, Lakhon Mein Ek, Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Phir Jeene Ki Tamanna Hai and Star Ya Rockstar.

In films, she first appeared in 2011 film Khap, followed by Gangaa and Fraud Saiyaan.
