Born in Turkey, Numar Acar is a German actor and producer, who after completing his graduation in civil engineering, started performing in Turkish and German movies. He rose to prominence for essaying Haissam Haqqani, in the American political thriller series Homeland (2014). He has also appeared in supporting roles in quite a few television series, namely Crossing Lines (2015), Prison Break (2017) and Jack Ryan.

In films, he is generally seen essaying ethnic roles in several Hollywood films. Some of his notable performances are Flying Home (2014), Point Break (2015), 12 Strong (2018). His other projects include Aladdin (2019) and Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019).
