Best known for playing the roles of Sio Bible in the popular sci-fi series, Star Wars, and Cressen in Game of Thrones, Oliver Ford Davies is a veteran TV and film actor and writer from England. The former President of the esteemed Oxford University Dramatic Society worked as a history lecturer at the University of Edinburgh before eventually pursuing a career in acting in 1967.

The winner of the Laurence Olivier Award in 1990 and the receiver of other adulations and honors, Davies, in his illustrious career has starred in more than 50 films and TV series'. His first notable work was in Defence of the Realm (1986) and following a decade of working in films, he rose to international fame with his role as Sio Bible in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace in 1999, he played the recurring the role in the second and third instalments of the series. His other notable works include Revelation (2001), The Mother (2003), The Deep Blue Sea (2011), and Christopher Robin (2018), an animation adventure comedy directed by Marc Foster.
