Oliver James Platt is an American actor born in Ontario, Canada. He decided to take up acting after watching the renowned actor, Morgan Freeman perform a 20-min drunken monologue at the Kennedy Center in Washington. Oliver graduated from Tufts University and worked in theatre circuits for over three years. During this period he performed at prestigious venues like Off-Broadway, Lincoln Center Theatre, Manhattan Theatre Club and many more.
