Early Life :
Omid Djalili is a British-Iranian who is primarily a stand-up comedian and an actor. He is also a writer, television producer and a voice actor. Born in Chelsea, London, Djalili attended Holland Park School and then he went on to study English and Theatre at University of Ulster in Coleraine, Northern Ireland.

Career Highlights :
He started his career as a stand-up comedian with Short, Fat Kebab Shop Owner`s Son (1995) at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. As far as his film career is concerned, he has acted in films like The Mummy (1999), Cross My Heart (2003), Pirates of the Caribbean: At World`s End (2007) and Big Fat Gypsy Gangster (2011). He has won EMMA Award, Time Out Award and LWT Comedy Award for Best Stand-up Comedian. His upcoming film, Shaun the sheep is set to release in August 2015, where he will be giving voice over.
