P. Adinarayana Rao a.k.a Penupatruni Adinarayana Rao (deceased) was a music director, film Producer and Play writer. He made his debut into the film industry in 1946 with the film Varudhini. Some of the movies in which he had worked are Palletoori Pilla, Pardesi, Adutha Veetu Penn and Swarnamanjari. He is the founder Aswini Pictures and had also produced movies like Maayalamaari, Sati Sakkubai and Ammakosam. He died in January 25, 1991.
