P.F. Mathews is a National Award-winning screenwriter and author who works in Malayalam cinema. He is best known for penning the screenplay for the acclaimed art house film Kutty Srank (2010), for which he won the National Film Award for Best Screenplay that year. Besides his work in films, Mathews has also published several short story anthologies and a handful of novels. Other significant feature film credits include Puthran (1994), Savithriyude Aranjanam (2002) and Ee.Ma.Yau (2017). His 2019 release includes the romantic-thriller movie Athiran (2019), which later dubbed in Telugu as Anukoni Athidhi (2021).
