P. L. Narayana was an Indian film actor, dialogue writer, and playwright, who predominantly worked in the Telugu film industry and few Tamil films. He was popular for portraying character roles particularly those of downtrodden people and those in misery. He was awarded National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for the Telugu movie, Yagnam, and died on 3 November 1998.
