Pahlaj Nihalani is an Indian producer, known for his work in the Hindi film industry. Pahlaj began his career in Indian film industry as a producer with the movie Hathkadi in 1982. Since then he has produced several films like Aandhi-Toofan (1985), Paap Ki Duniya (1988), Mandira (1990), Aag Ka Gola (1990), Shola Aur Shabnam (1992), Aankhen (1993), Dil Tera Diwana (1996), Talaash: The Hunt Begins... (2003) and Khushboo (2008). He was the Chairman of Central board of Film Certification (CBFC) of India from 2015 to 2017. In 2017, after Pahlaj was sacked as the Chairman of the CBFC, he served the distributor on director Deepak Shivdasani's Julie 2. His 2019 release includes Rangeela Raja.
