Actress, screenwriter, producer and director Pamela Adlon began her showbiz journey in 1982, and has since appeared in over a hundred tv shows and several features in a career spanning over three decades. She is perhaps best known for co-creating, writing, producing, directing and starring in the acclaimed comedy-drama series Better Things (2016-), which followed the struggles of a Hollywood actress who seeks to strike a balance between her personal and professional life. Her work in the series earned Adlon multiple Golden Globe and Primetime Emmy Awards nominations.

Besides this, the actress has also won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Voice-Over Performance for the animated sitcom King of the Hill (1997-'10). Other significant acting credits include Grease 2 (1982), the tv show Louie (2010-'15), The Big Bang Theory (2007-) and the sci-fi action movie Bumblebee (2018).
