A three-time Mirchi Music Award nominee, Parag Baran is a doctor by profession and musician by passion. His musical journey started in his childhood, under the tutelage of the great Debabrata Biswas, one of the most celebrated exponents of Rabindra Sangeet. Growing up, Parag waded further into diverse genres of music from around the world, eventually going on to establish himself as an accomplished singer, composer and arranger.


Parag has since produced several music albums under the label of Asha Audio and Raga Music, and has collaborated with popular artists like Sadhna Sargam, Pratik Choudhury, Prasmita Pal and Madhubanti Bagchi over the years. In 2018, he made his feature film debut as a composer with the Bengali drama movie Kintu Golpo Noy, which was directed by Pabitra Goswami.
