In a career spanning over a decade, writer-director Parasuram has helmed around half a dozen Telugu films, notable among which are the Ravi Teja starrers Anjaneyulu (2009) and Sarocharu (2012). He made his directorial debut in Tollywood with Yuvatha (2008), which starred Nikhil Siddharth and Aksha Pardasany in the lead roles, and turned out to be a major box office hit.

Among the filmmakers other significant movie credits are Solo (2011) and the Allu Sirish starrer Srirastu Subhamastu (2016), both of which he also wrote. In 2018, Parasuram wrote and directed the romantic comedy Geetha Govindam, which starred Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles.
