Yesteryear screenwriter and producer Paul Henning is best-remembered for creating the popular sitcom The Beverly Hillbillies (1962-`71), which earned him two Primetime Emmy Award nominations during its run. The sitcoms The Bob Cummings Show (1955-`59) and Petticoat Junction (1963-`70) are some of Henning`s other notable television writing credits.

Notable film credits include the comedies Lover Come Back (1961), Bedtime Story (1964), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (1988) and its remake The Hustle (2019).
