Paul Michael Glaser is an American actor and director who is most famous for playing the role of Detective Dave Starsky in the 1970`s TV series, Starsky & Hutch. The show went on for four years and later inspired a movie as well as a video game. Today it is considered amongst the iconic detective duo stories. Glaser also acted in other prominent films such as Fiddler on the Roof (1971), The Great Houdini (1976) and Attack on Fear (1984). Glaser later turned to direction as well, making his debut with The Running Man (1987). Apart from several TV shows he has also directed The Cutting Edge (1992), The Air Up There (1994) and Kazaam (1996).
