A former model, Peggy Lipton is an American stage, television and film actress popularly known for her role as Julie Barnes in the TV series The Mod Squad and as Norma Jennings in David Lynch's TV series, Twin Peaks. In her acting career spanning more than five decades, Lipton won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in 1970 for her performance in The Mod Squad and has since then appeared on TV shows such as Popular (2000), Alias (2004), and Crash (2009). The actress made her feature debut with the movie Blue in 1968 and her other credits include movies such as True Identity (1991), Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me (1992), The Intern (2000), and When in Rome (2010). Her 2017 release includes the movie A Dog's Purpose directed by Lasse Hallstrom.
