Peter Elliott is the film industry`s primary primate. He works both as a performer, in films like Missing Link (1988) and The The Island of Dr. Moreau (1996), and as a choreographer of other performers, as in Gorillas in the Mist (1988) and Congo (1995). He also teaches animal study at London`s Central School of Speech and Drama. The gorilla expert in Congo (1995) is named Peter Elliott, and Michael Crichton has said he may have named him after Peter.
