Apart from being an animator and director, Peter Lord is best credited with the creation of the British animation studio Aardman Animations. The studio is known for its work in stop-motion clay animation and has won several awards for the same. Lord is the executive producer for all Aardman movies as well as numerous TV shows and short films. Some of the company`s most notable movies include the Academy Award winning film Chicken Run (2000), Flushed Away (2006), Arthur Christmas (2011) and A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon (2020). Lord was also the director for Chicken Run and The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists! (2012).
