Best known for films like The Lego Movie (2014) and 22 Jump Street (2014), writer-producer Phil Lord started his career with Clone High (2002-2003), where h worked as the producer and director for the show. He was also associated with the popular sitcom How I Met Your Mother (2005). Lord, then, focused on laying down the screenplay for Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, which released in 2009, proved to be a commercial and critical hit.

Having been associated with several films and television series, some of his notable works are 21 Jump Street (2012) Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 (2013), and The Lego Movie (2014). Films Smallfoot (2018), Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) and The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part (2019) are among his other projects.
