A renowned French animator, voice artist, and director, Pierre Coffin is best known for creating the Despicable Me film franchise and voice lending his voice in the Minions film series. After making his debut on the silver screen as an animation artist with We`re Back! A Dinosaur`s Story, Coffin made directorial debut with the short film Gary`s Day and later made his maiden feature film titled Despicable Me (2010), the first film in the franchise. He later directed films like Despicable Me 2 (2013), Minions (2015), and Despicable Me 3 (2017). Apart from films, Coffin has also directed a TV series named Pat & Stan (2004-09). His 2022 releases include Minions: The Rise of Gru.
