Prabir Mitra is a veteran actor of the Bangladeshi film industry. In a career spanning over three decades, Mitra has acted in major productions like Jonmo Theke Jolchi (1982), Suruj Miah (1985), Chaowa Theke Paowa (1996), Meher Nigar (2005) and Ke Ami (2009). His performance in Boro Bhalo Lok Chhilo (1982) earned him the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor. Mitra will next star in Sweetheart, set to release in February 2016.
