Renowned actor and National Film Award-winning filmmaker Prakash Belawadi`s filmography spans across Kannada, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam cinema. Some of his best known acting credits include the Kannada romantic thriller Aatagara (2015), the Bollywood films Wazir (2016), Airlift (2016) and Sanju (2018); the Malayalam film Take Off (2017) and the bilingual biopic Thackeray (2019).

Besides these, Prakash`s directorial debut Stumble (2003) has also won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in English. A seasoned theatre artist, Belawadi is the founder of Suchitra School of Cinema and Dramatic Arts in Bangalore. Other significant acting credits in recent times include the Indian-American biographical drama The Least of These (2019), Saaho (2019) and Vrithra (2019).
