The son of popular Tollywood director K. Raghavendra Rao, Prakash Rao Kovelamudi is an Indian actor, director and producer, working primarily in Tollywood. After graduating from Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, he made his acting debut in the Telugu film Neetho, followed by Morning Raga (2004) and NTR: Kathanayakudu (2018), where he portrayed his father, K. Raghavendra Rao.

In 2006, he made his directorial debut with Bommalata (A Belly Full of Dreams), which he also wrote. His second directorial venture was Anaganaga O Dheerudu (2011), which he wrote and produced. In 2019, he directed Kangana Ranaut and Rajkumar Rao starrer Judgemental Hai Kya, which marks his Bollywood debut.
