Pramila a.k.a. Esther Victoria Abraham, Pramila, was an Indian film actress, born on December 30, 1916 in Calcutta, Bengal, British India. She died at the of 89 on August 6, 2006. Promila won the first Miss India pageant in 1947. She performed numerous Tamil and Malayalam films. She was married to Manicklal Dangi, M. Kumar and Nari Ghadiali and was a mother of five children. Pramila is known for her work in the movies Arrangetram, Dilawar and Bhikharan, to name a few.
