About
Pranav`s credentials as an artist go beyond the fact that he is the son of celebrated Malayalam actor Mohanlal. The young actor made his feature film debut at the age of 11 in the action thriller Onnaman (2002), and followed it up with a memorable performance in the drama film Punarjani (2002). For his portrayal of the troubled youngster Appu in Punarjani, Pranav won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artist that year. After a decade-long hiatus, he made a comeback to cinema in 2015. This time around, Pranav started out behind the camera, working as an assistant director under writer-director Jeethu Joseph in the Kamal Haasan starrer Papanasam (2015) and the Dileep starrer Life of Josutty (2015). In 2018, he made his debut as a lead actor with the thriller Aadhi, for which he also served as a songwriter.
