Praveen Sutar is a Kannada filmmaker, writer, and actor who works in the Sandalwood film industry. He made his directorial debut with Ondolle Love Story (2023), a drama-romance produced by Pinakin Cinemas. The film explores youth addiction to alcohol and drugs, focusing on personal struggles and the importance of overcoming them. Praveen also co-wrote and choreographed the film.

Before stepping into direction, Praveen worked as a dialogue writer on Noorondu Nenapu (2017), a Kannada romantic drama set in the 1980s and based on the Marathi film Duniyadari. He contributed to the Kannada adaptation by rewriting the film's dialogues, marking an early step in his career as a storyteller.
