Praveen Tej moved from Shivamogga to Bangalore to pursue his dream of becoming an actor. He started taking classes in acting, martial arts and dancing for his overall development as an artist. He got his first break as an anchor for a TV show. Soon he moved to the big screen by playing a lover boy in the Simpallag Innondh Love story (2016). The Simple Suni directorial was a super hit and he became the talk of the town. After that, he appeared in Churikatte which was about timber-mafia. His 2018 projects include Heegondhu Dina and Kuchiku Kuchiku. His 2019 release includes Striker.
