Prem Kumar is a Malayalam actor who was one of the most popular comedians during the 1990s. He has appeared in feature films, telefilms, and soap operas. He won the Kerala State Television Award in 1990 for Lambo, a telefilm which was aired on DD Malayalam. In a career spanning more than two decades, he has acted in over a 100 films. Some of his notable works are Johnnie Walker (1992), Ammayane Sathyam (1993), Malappuram Haji Mahanaya Joji (1994), Puthukkottayile Puthumanavalan, Parvathy Parinayam, Aniyan Bava Chetan Bava, Aadyathe Kanmani (1995), Kireedamillatha Rajakkanmar, Malayala Masom Chingam Onninu (1996), Hitler Brothers (1997), Manthri Kochamma (1998), American Ammayi, My Dear Karadi (1999), Mr. Brahmachari (2003), Kadha, Samvidhanam Kunchakko (2009), and Shutter (2013).

In 2018, he appeared alongside Kunchacko Boban and Jayaram Subramaniam in Ramesh Pisharody's Malayalam comedy drama Panchavarnathatha.
