An Indian film director, writer, and actor based in Kolkata, West Bengal who is noted for his work in Bengali and Hindi cinema. Having made his directorial debut with the Bengali film Arjun - Kalimpong E Sitaharan in 2013, over the years, in his illustrious career, Prem Prakash has worked with several eminent directors like Ranjit Kapoor, Aparna Sen, Anjan Das, Anjan Dutt and Suman Mukhopadhyay. Having started his career as an assistant director with The Goal (1999), he made his acting debut with Daughters of This Century (2001). His other notable film credits as an actor include Dattak (2001), Gumshuda (2009), and BBD (2010). Some of his notable directorial credits include Arjun - Kalimpong E Sitaharan (2013) and Panchlait (2017).
