Filmmaker, screenwriter and producer Prerna Wadhawan is best known for her debut feature film Ishqeria, a Bollywood romantic drama which starred Neil Nitin Mukesh and Richa Chadha in the lead roles. Besides this she has also served as a producer in the Doordarshan sitcom Aashiq Biwi Ka.
