Group CEO and MD of Ascent Group Of Companies, Pritish Chakraborty is an Indian movie actor, director, writer, singer, songwriter and producer, who predominantly works in Bollywood cinema. He kick-started his career in the entertainment industry in 2006 when he worked as an assistant director in the popular television series Office Office. He has collaborated as a writer, editor and assistant director with several directors and producers such as Pooja Bhatt, Mahesh Bhatt, Pankaj Kapur, Balaji Telefilms and T-Series, to name the popular ones. His first Bollywood film was in 2012 titled Chal Pichchur Banate Hain, for which he was the director and writer, starring Rahil Tandon and Bhavna Ruparel. His 2017 venture includes the sci-fi comedy film Mangal Ho, which marks his debut as an actor. Directed by Pritish, he is also the screenplay and story writer of the film, being produced under his own film production company banner Ascent Films Private Limited, founded in 2013.
