Born in Jaffna, Sri Lanka, Canadian actress-dancer Priya Rajaratnam pursued a career in acting and appeared in numerous student and independent films, as well as stage plays. Some of her notable acting credits include popular TV series like Supernatural (2014), Mistresses (2015), Suits (2016), 12 Monkeys (2017) and films like Tomorrowland (2015), Star Trek: Beyond (2016) and Poignant (2016). Her other projects include historical-drama Alpha (2018).

In addition, Rajaratnam is trained in Indian classical dance form Bharatanatyam, Karnatic singing, and Violin.
