One of the most popular modern artists of Marathi cinema, Priyadarshan Jadhav is a stage, TV, and film actor, writer, director, and producer. Known for his exceptional comedy, Priyadarshan has established himself as a leading comedian in the Marathi entertainment industry. Born in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India, Priyadarshan made his acting debut in the 2012 movie Vijay Aso. In 2015, he essayed the role of a grown-up `Dagadu`in the movie Timepass 2, a sequel to one of the most successful movies of Marathi cinema, Timepass. The following year he appeared in the critically acclaimed movie Halal directed by National Award-winning director Shivaji Lotan Patil. The actor received the Best Supporting Actor Award for his performance in the movie at the Zee Gaurav Awards 2017. The movie, which was showcased at several national and international film festivals received a theatrical release in India in 2017. His 2018 releases include Maska and Majhya Baikocha Priyakar.

Priyadarshan is also known for his work on Marathi television especially for his skits in the standup comedy show Fu Bai Fu. The actor has essayed two popular characters on Zee Marathi Network - a detective on the show Shejari Shejari Pakke Shejari and as Rajabhau on the show Chuk Bhul Dyavi Ghyavi. Priyadarshan has also directed plays such as Gandhi Aadva Yeto, Mr and Mrs, Moruchi Mavshi, Jago Mohan Pyare, Cycle and Me Pan Sachin. His 2020 release includes Choricha Mamla.
