Exceptionally gifted Pt. Jai Kishan Maharaj represents the eighth generation in the lineage of'Kalka - Bindadin Gharana' of Lucknow and is the eldest son of Kathak maestro Padma Vibhushan Pt. Birju Maharaj. He imbibed the art of Kathak with great devotion and performed extensively in India as well as abroad.
