Purab Seal Acharya is a budding young actor who made his debut in Anindya Chatterjee`s film Manojder Adbhut Bari (2019) as Saroj, Manoj`s older sibling. Currently studying Mass Communication and Videography at St.Xavier`s College, Kolkata, Purab is also a budding musician (composer, singer and arranger), holding Distinctions from Trinity College, London in Classical and Rock and Pop Guitar playing. He also performs vocals both individually and as part of his band Naiyor. In 2017 Purab was awarded the Composer of the Year Mirchi Music Award in 2017. He features in a major role in Koushik Ganguly`s film Lokkhi Chhele (2020).
