Puru Chibber is an Indian television actor who is most popular for playing the role of Hameer Rizvi in the crime television series Khotey Sikkey aired on Sony TV. He plays the character of Sachin Manav Deshmukh in the Ekta Kapoor`s television show Pavitra Rishta. For his role in Pavitra Rishta, he got nominated in the Best Negative Actor (Male) category at Zee Gold Awards (2012). He has also featured in several other TV serials like Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Gumrah - End Of Innocence, Adaalat, and Beintehaa. He also appears in Naamkarann since 2016 in the role of Ketan Mehta. He gained popularity among the movie audience for playing the best friend of Bittoo, Ranveer Singh`s character, in the 2010 film Band Baaja Baaraat. Puru`s 2017 venture includes the action thriller film Bhoomi, directed by Omung Kumar, which is a revenge story starring Sanjay Dutt and Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead roles.
