Recipient of the Rotary Young Achiever Award in 2013, Queen Hazarika is an Assamese playback singer and actress, who started performing on stage at the age of four. Born in Lakhimpur, a small town in Assam, to Raj Hazarika and Usha Gogoi Hazarika, Queen Hazarika completed her school at St. Mary's High School, following which she graduated from Handique Girl's College. Much before completing her school, she had developed a keen interest in performing arts.

Soon after her first stage performance at the age of four, Queen Hazarika took to singing and performing and has lent her voice to several documentaries, and Bengali and Assamese movies. Making her debut as an independent artist, Queen released her first album Abhimaan in 1996, after which she went on to tour several cities in India such as Delhi, Kolkata, and Gurgaon. Her feature film debut came with the Assamese movie Mon in 2002, and since then she has lent her voice to songs from Assamese movies such as Suren Suror Putek, Sneh Bandhan, Aakash Chuboloi Mon, and Okosmat - Out of the Blue.

Not only has Queen been associated with movies and her independent singing career, she has also hosted a couple of TV shows such as Dil Ka Connection, Your Request Our Pleasure, Songs on Demand, and Good Life. Apart from being an active part of the Assamese entertainment industry, Queen has also worked with several reputed organizations such as ICICI Lombard, Reliance Life, and Vodafone India.

A corporate professional and an accomplished singer, Queen made her debut as an actress in 2013 with the movie Surjasta and has since acted in the movies Avataran and Rum Vodka Whisky, which she is also associated as a singer.
