Primarily known for appearing in supporting roles in the Deccani film industry, R.K. Mama`s credentials go beyond acting to production and screenwriting. He is best known for producing, writing and acting in the hit 2006 film Hyderabad Nawabs, and the popularity of his character Mama in the movie earned him the stage name R.K. Mama. Besides Hyderabadi films, RK has also appeared in a handful of Telugu films like the 2004 Jagapati Babu starrer Athade Oka Sainyam. Other notable acting credits include Ek Tha Sardaar (2013) and Inspector Gullu (2018). His 2019 release includes Hyderabad Nawabs 2, directed by R.K. Mama.
