An Indian film actor and director, R. N. R. Manohar is predominantly active in Tamil cinema. He started off as the co-director for movies like Maindhan, Kolangal, Pudhumai Pithan, Kallazhagar, and then went on to become a director with the movie Maasilamani in 2009. His other directorial venture was the police drama Vellore Maavattam, released in 2011, starring Nandha and Poorna in the lead roles. Manohar started off his acting career with the 1995 movie Kolangal, and then went on to gain further popularity by featuring in the movies Dhill, Ya Ya, Yennai Arindhaal, Naanum Rowdydhaan, Vedalam, Achcham Enbadhu Madamaiyada, and Kavan. As a writer, he worked on Maindhan, Pudhumai Pithan, Maasilamani, Vandae Maatharam, and Kolangal. His 2017 venture includes the romantic drama movie Puyala Kelambi Varom, under the direction of G. Arumugam, starring Thaman and Madhushree in the lead roles.
