R. Panneerselvam is an Indian film director and writer, who works in the Tamil film industry. Before making his directorial debut, he served as an associate director on several movies by N. Linguswamy like, Run (2002), Sandakozhi (2005) and Bheema (2008). Paneerselvam is perhaps best known for his debut movie, Renigunta (2009). The movie was well received at the box office. Paneerselvam next went on to direct 18 Vayasu (2012), which was a critically and commercially trashed. In 2017 he returned to direct Vijay Sethupathi and Tanya Ravichandran in Karuppan. The cast also includes Bobby Simha, G Kishore Kumar, Pasupathy Ramasaamy, Kaveri and Sharath Lohitashwa.
