Actor Rahul Ravindran started out in showbiz through commercials and as a voice artist, eventually making his feature film debut in Madrasi (2006). Though the romantic drama Moscowin Kavery (2010) marked Rahul`s debut as a leading man, he got his first big break courtesy of the 2012 movies Vinmeengal and Andala Rakshasi. His performance in the latter earned the actor a SIIMA Award nomination for Best Male Debutant that year.

Since then, Rahul has appeared in supporting and leading roles in Tollywood and Kollywood, notable among which are the romantic drama Nenem...Chinna Pillana? (2013), the comedy Ala Ela (2014) and the Mahesh Babu starrer Srimanthudu (2015). Other significant acting credits include Tiger (2015), Howrah Bridge (2018), Dhrushti (2018) and U Turn (2018). In 2018, he made his debut as a director with the Sushanth and Ruhani starrer, Chi La Sow. His 2019 release includes Manmadhudu 2, directed by Rahul Ravindran.
