Known for his work in Telugu and Kannada cinema, Rahul Shrivatsav has rolled the camera for a handful of movies over the years, notable among which are the crime comedy A Shyam Gopal Varma Film (2015), the Mohanlal starrer Manamantha (2016) and the biographical action drama Vangaveeti (2016) directed by Ram Gopal Varma.

In 2019, Rahul debuted in Sandalwood with the crime thriller Kavacha (2019), which was a remake of the Malayalam film Oppam (2016) and starred Shiva Rajkumar in the lead role.
