Raj Chakraborty is an Indian filmmaker, screenwriter and actor who works in the Bengali film industry. He started out in the industry as a filmmaker, with the 2008 romantic drama Chirodini Tumi Je Amar. Since then, Raj has directed several popular Bengali films like Challenge (2009), Dui Prithibi (2010), Bojhena Shey Bojhena (2012), Proloy (2013) and Chaamp (2017). Widely regarded as one of the most commercially viable filmmakers in Tollywood, Raj has also ventured into acting through films like Bojhena Shey Bojhena (2012), Parbona Ami Chartey Tokey (2015) and Cockpit (2017). Other significant directorial credits include Prem Aamar (2009), Shotru (2011), Kanamachi (2013) and Parbona Ami Chartey Tokey (2015). His 2019 releases include Shesh Theke Shuru and Parineeta.
