Raj Khosla was a veteran Indian director, producer and screenwriter, who was active in Hindi cinema from the 1950s to the 1980s. He started his career as an assistant director under Guru Dutt and went on make his directorial debut in 1956 film C.I.D. Khosla is famous for bringing a neo-noir style to Indian cinema. His other film credits include Do Raaste (1969),
Mera Gaon Mera Desh (1971), Kuchhe Dhaage (1973), Main Tulsi Tere Aangan Ki (1978), Mera Dost Mera Dushman (1984), Maati Maangey Khoon (1984) and Sunny (1984).
