Shri Rajan is an eminent violinist who learnt violin under prominent Gurus like Late Shri R.R Keshava Murthy and inspired by Late Shri T. Chowdaiah. He is a Gold Medalist in the state level violin competition and passed the same in First Rank.
Rajan Nagendra were prominent composers of film music in Kannada Cinema from 1952-1990. They have scored music for over 450 films. More than 350 in Kannada and other languages like Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Tulu, Hindi and Sinhala. Their innumerable hits include songs from movie Gandada Gudi, Chandanada Gombe, Parasangada Gendetimma, Naa Ninna Mareyalaare, Bhagyavantaru and so on.
