Rajat Mukherjee was an Indian director and screenwriter who was noted for his work in the Hindi film industry. Having made his directorial debut with Pyaar Tune kya Kiya.. (2001), he subsequently directed films like Road (2002), Love in Nepal (2004) and Umeed (2017), a Hindi-language medical drama that stars Freddy Daruwala and Achint Kaur. Rajat Mukherjee passed away in July 2020.
