Primarily associated with the Marathi film industry, Rajesh Deshpande is a writer, director, and lyricist who made his debut in 2013 with the movie Kuni Ghar Deta Ka Ghar, where he donned all the three hats. His next outing came with Kumari Gangubai Non Matric in 2013, which he, yet again, was associated with as the writer, director, and lyricist. Five years after it, in 2018, Rajesh was roped in to write the screenplay and dialogue of the Mrunmayee Deshpande and Siddharth Jadhav-starrer Marathi comedy Shikari.
