Best known for his collaborations with director and writer Alphonse Puthren, Rajesh Murugesan is an Indian music composer, who is primarily associated with the Malayalam film industry. After graduating from SAE International College in Chennai, Rajesh made his debut as a composer with the Tamil and Malayalam bilingual movie Neram, which also marked Alphonse Puthren`s directorial debut, in 2013.
With his second venture, again an Alphonse Puthren directorial, Premam, the composer won immense praise and recognition and was also awarded the Best Director Award at SIIMA in 2016. His other projects include Aviyal, Premam`s Telugu remake titled the same, Neram`s Kannada remake titled Kismath, and Thobama.
