An Indian film director and music composer Rajnish Mishra is best remembered for his work in the Bhojpuri film industry. He started his career in 2016 with the Dinesh Lal Yadav and Amarapali Dubey-starrer Bam Bam Bol Raha Hai Kashi, where he was associated as its music director. Reuniting with his debut movie's lead cast, he composed the music of the action comedy Ram Lakhan in the same year.

The following year, in 2017, he made his directorial debut with the Mehandi Laga Ke Rakhna, starring Khesari Lal Yadav and Kajal Raghwani in the lead. Known for his collaboration with Khesari and Kajal, Rajnish next directed Mai Sehra Bandh Ke Aaunga and Deewanapan. In 2018, he yet again roped in Khesari Lal Yadav for the Bhojpuri drama Damru, which featured Yashika Kapoor opposite him in the lead. His 2018 releases include Bhojpuri drama Mehandi Laga Ke Rakhna 2 and Ghoonghat Mein Ghotala.
