From the beginning of his journey at the age of 18 to owning the company Ranganayaki Cine Service, Rakesh Thilak has had a remarkable run in the film industry. He started practicing cinematography under his father`s supervision and later worked for GSV Seetharaman, Nanda Kumar, and Shreesha Kuduvalli, acquiring eight years of experience as an assistant cinematographer. He marked his debut as an executive cinematographer with the film Titlu Bekaa (2015), followed by Vardhana (2017). He is further associated with several web series and TV shows. His 2019 projects include Yaarrunttu, Moorkal Estate. His 2020 release includes BillGates.
