Writer-director Rakesh Sashii is known primarily for his work in Telugu cinema. He debuted with the the romantic comedy film Jatha Kalisey (2015), which starred Ashwin Babu and Tejaswi Madivada in the lead roles. In 2018, Rakesh made his sophomore outing as a writer-director with the romantic action drama Vijetha, which starred Kalyaan Dhev and Malavika Nair in pivotal roles.
